The year 2020 is not only a challenge for the healthcare system, but also for the economy. The Austrian federal government has recently tried to support companies in crisis within the framework of the 2020 Economic Strengthening Act<\/strong>, the COVID-19 Corporate Law Act<\/strong> and the Investment Premium Act<\/strong> to strengthen.<\/p>\n

According to Section 277 Paragraph 1 UGB, the legal representatives of corporations are obliged to submit their annual financial statements to the commercial register court (submission to the court) no later than nine months after the balance sheet date – not so this year! The following innovations (limited to December 31, 2020 in accordance with Section 4 COVID-19-GesG) were enacted as part of the special COVID-19 legislation.
