The latest amendment to the Epidemic Act opens up new opportunities<\/strong> for numerous entrepreneurs affected by entry bans: Previously, an application for compensation under the Epidemic Act<\/strong> had to be submitted within six weeks must be submitted to the responsible district administrative authority once the restrictions are removed. A period of three months<\/strong> is now planned for this. In addition, deadlines that have already expired and are currently running begin to run again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In our previous newsletters on this topic from April 30, 2020 and May 19, 2020, the question was discussed as to whether compensation claims based on the Epidemic Act<\/strong> would be conceivable due to the entry bans and traffic restrictions issued on the basis of the COVID-19 Measures Act .<\/p>\n
