Since January 18, 2017, it has been significantly easier for creditors to collect claims from defaulting debtors from other EU member states. The European Account Seizure Regulation created an independent Union procedure for securing monetary claims, which is intended to be quick, effective and cost-effective.<\/p>\n

The European Account Seizure Regulation, which has been in force since January 18, 2017 and is directly applicable, creates a new opportunity for creditors to get their money in the event of cross-border debt collection.
